Specialized speech-language pathology for children with complex communication needs, bridging the gap between therapy, school, and home so every skill carries into daily life where it matters most.
I work alongside parents and school teams to bring consistency across environments, so communication skills are not only developed, but supported and used in everyday life.
Comprehensive, child-centered evaluations and ongoing therapy for children with complex communication needs, including AAC users, children with autism, childhood apraxia of speech, speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication deficits. Every session is built around the whole child, not just the goal sheet.
You are your child's most powerful communication partner. Over 12 weeks of individualized coaching, I'll equip you with the tools, language, and confidence to support your child's communication at home, turning every moment into a therapeutic opportunity.
I partner with schools as a consultant, equipping teachers, administrators, and staff with strategies to support students with complex speech needs and promote meaningful carryover beyond the classroom. Because a child's growth shouldn't stop at the therapy room door.
I'm Carly, a speech-language pathologist, ASHA certified, NY & FL State Licensed, specializing in complex communication needs. I have 15 years of experience and specialized training in childhood apraxia of speech, autism and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).
My work sits at the intersection of therapy, school, and home. I partner closely with families and educational teams to ensure that communication strategies are not only introduced, but consistently supported and used across a child's entire day.
I am PROMPT-trained and have over 15 years of experience supporting children from early childhood through adolescence. My clinical work integrates evidence-based approaches including PROMPT, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Oral Placement Therapy, and other motor-speech and language-based frameworks tailored to each child's needs.
Beyond direct therapy, I place a strong emphasis on collaboration and education, empowering parents, teachers, and support teams with the tools and confidence to reinforce communication in everyday routines. Because meaningful progress isn't just what happens in a session it's what carries into real life.
